We're Good. Let's Go...Remember the Power of Our Call with Rev. Jess Kemp
In this episode, we'll hear from Rev. Jess Kemp, Minister of Children, Youth, and Young Adults at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio. Antioch hosted our 2024 Empowher! conference with lavish hospitality, and we are grateful not only for Rev. Jess Kemp, but for all the people at that wonderful congregation!
Rev. Kemp is a powerful speaker and reminds us all of the power of God's call in our lives, the role of mentors in the faith, and the practice of gratitude for the ways in which God has blessed us with sacred voices. You will be blessed by listening to her proclaim this good news over and over again.
The Scripture for her sermon is read by our own board member, Cintia Aguilar, Immigration Ministry Manager at FaithWorks. She blesses us with the reading of Scripture in both English and Spanish. Rev. Kemp is introduced by her mother, First Lady Velma Kemp. What a privelege to hear the power of God in the voices of these three women!
